League highlights:
Rankings will be based on a Points system. These number are generated
from things as simple as showing up for the match, to being precise on
the exact outcome, down the to kill per player.
Mostly, the Points shows the difference between strong wins, and barely
won wins, vs hard losses and barely lost losses, with all scoring
scenarios in between taken into account.
*Note, we have ran these number and havent came across anything
that distorts rankings but, we will be putting the below to the test
during preseason under match conditions. The points in preseason will
NOT count towards Regulation rankings, we are just using these as a
working model to make sure things are right for the teams.
Point Allocation:
*updated.
Winning team:
5 points for showing up ( P )
1 point per round won ( RW )
points per RW-RL difference ((RW - RL)*.25)
Actual formula used:
SUM(RW+((RW-RL)*0.25)+5)
Note, to make things work out right, as you will see below, a Win in OT is considered a baseline pointswise, a flat 20 points.
Losing team:
5 points for showing up
1 point per round won
Actual forumal:
SUM((RW)+5)
Scoring Scenarios:
20-0 Win 5 + 30 = 35.00
19-1 Win 5 + 28.5 = 33.50
18-2 Win 5 + 27 = 32.00
17-3 Win 5 + 25.5 = 30.50
16-4 Win 5 + 24 + = 29.00
15-5 Win 5 + 22.5 + = 27.50
14-6 Win 5 + 21 + = 26.00
13-7 Win 5 + 19.5 + = 24.50
12-8 Win 5 + 18 + = 23.00
11-9 Win 5 + 16.5 + = 21.50
11-10 OTWin 5 + 15 + = 20.00
10-11 Loss 5 + 10 + = 15.00
9-11 Loss 5 + 9 + = 14.00
8-12 Loss 5 + 8 + = 13.00
7-13 Loss 5 + 7 + = 12.00
6-14 Loss 5 + 6 + = 11.00
5-15 Loss 5 + 5 + = 10.00
4-16 Loss 5 + 4 + = 9.00
3-17 Loss 5 + 3 + = 8.00
2-18 Loss 5 + 2 + = 7.00
1-19 Loss 5 + 1 + = 6.00
0-20 Loss 5 + 0 + = 5.00
Clarifications:
In the event of a no show, the team that attended gets win points
because they "fought" the match uncontested. This number will be the
same points as the highest winning team points for that week minus 1.5. example: Highest winner was a 17-3 win, 30.50 points. No show team will get 29.00, same points as a 16-4 win.
All this is done to stop a noshow match from hurting a participating
team. Realistically it doesn't alter their ranking beyond what they
would have normally played because the match scheduling is based on
rankings, it will self adjust. If it "climbs" a team too high in the
rankings, they will lose and it will adjust them down in the rankings.
If a team "climbs" up in the rankings due to a no-show win and they
continue to win, then they belong higher up and nothing is hurt.
The main goal is to keep things logically moving. Teams that suffer the
misfortune of having their opponent no-show wont then have to scramble
to find just any available team to play, it scews the rankings because
of strength of schedule.
A team that no shows gets removed from the league and immediately
placed back to the pending queue. Admins will NOT persue them to rejoin
the league. The team moved must contact the admin staff. If 5 days goes
by and the status has not been changed, the team is removed from the
pending queue and the league completely and not allowed to rejoin until
the next league season.

How you play
- Teams must be in server, with the minimum number of players
required (4), and be ready to play within 15 minutes of posted match
time or agreed upon match time. - The match will be played in a "play all 20 rounds" format.
- Teams will switch sides after 10 rounds.
- Teams must "ready up" within 5 minutes during the halftime switch.
- Round time will be 2:00.
- The plant time is 5 seconds.
- The defuse time is 10 seconds.
- The bomb timer is 60 seconds.
- Multi-Bomb is enabled for all round, anyone can plant, everyone carries a bomb.
- You will have 20 total regulation rounds to win as many rounds as possible.
- Should teams be tied 10 wins a piece, the teams will play a 6
round Overtime *Note, all OT rounds are considered the 21st round for
league scoring purposes. - In OT, the Home team gets side choice for the first 3 rounds then side switches for the next 3.
- The first team to win 4 out of 6 OT rounds wins OT, the "21st" round, and wins the match 11-10.
- Should teams be tied 3-3 after the 6 OT rounds, they will play
another 6 round OT, with Visitor getting side choice for the first 3
rounds then side switching for the last 3 rounds. - Teams will continue to switch like, alternating sides and
alternating who gets round side choice for the first 3, until 1 team
wins 4 out of the 6.
League highlights:
- Rankings are fluid, record/points determines week to week where you are ranked.
- Results and rankings determines who you play the next week.
- You no show, you're removed from the league. YOU must request to be reinstated, we wont try to track you down.
- You get 1 reinstatement, after that, you're gone completely if you don't show up again!
- A no show win = win points based on highest winning team minus 1 round for team that shows up.
- Rosters locked the night before your week 6 match.
- League matches must be played on league assigned map, no switching.
- Preseason play is not required
- Late team joins are allowed until week 2 is scheduled, with
the exception of keeping an even number of teams in league to
facilitate match scheduling. - No late join makeup matches. In the scheduling and points, you have time to still climb up the tiers.
- League matches must be played on League night (Monday) OR the night before (Sunday) if agreed in match coms. If both teams don't agree, then its default night, (Monday)
- Default match time is always 9:30 EST (TWL time) unless both teams expressly agree to change the match time in match coms
- both teams need to post server info if possible. Being home or visiting team has no obligation to "provide a server or forfeit".
- Home team will have server choice or can defer server choice
for round 1 side selection. (if Home defers for side choice, and for
some reason the other team has a server issue and the match must be
moved to Home teams listed server, Home team retains Round 1 side
choice) - Home team must announce in match coms at least 24 hours before
match if they want server selection, or instead want side choice. They
must give side/server they choose at this time also. If they fail to
say anything, they waive the right to any choice. - Demos are required for all play including preseason. If you
cant/wont demo, you are not legal to play the match and it could result
in your team being removed from the league. - All league servers are required to be StreamingPB - We will be providing an FAQ to help teams understand whats required
- Players must be on roster by the day of match with a proper
GUID to play, however, noone can play on 2 different teams, in the same
league, at the same time, for any reason at any time. You can leave 1
team to go to another, but you can't then go back to your original
team. See Smurfing Rule - If your match is to be casted, you can't refuse, and we will
facilitate getting the casters whatever they need to have a successful
cast. - In the event there is an odd number of active teams in the
league the team with the lowest points total that lost the previous
week will have a bye week. We will strive our utmost to make sure this
doesnt happen.

How you play
- This is a best of 7 format, the first team to win 4 rounds is the overall match winner.
- Teams meet in the server and have until 15 minutes after match
time to "Ready Up" for the first round or could be subject to forfeit
of the entire match. - You will switch sides after the third round.
- Teams must "Ready Up" on side switch within 5 minutes or may
be subject to a forfeit of the next round. Let show some patients and
consideration on both sides for this. - Match time is a 5 minute regulation time with 10 second
respawn time. If no detonation after 5 minutes, the match continues
uninterupted to a series of 60 second overtime rounds where the respawn
time increases 5 seconds for each OT round. example: First OT round respawns goto 15 seconds, 2nd OT round respawns goto 20 seconds... ect until a detonation occurs - The match will be played on 1 map.
- Plant timer is set to 7 seconds.*
- Defuse timer is set to 5 seconds.*
- Bomb timer is set to 45 seconds.*
- Bomb Carrier indicator refresh time is set to 20 seconds.*

Dates off:
Jan 30th to schedule and implement any feed back before regulation play begins....
Playoff Expert grouping = top 8 points total teams
Playoff Intermediate grouping = 9-16 points total teams
Playoff Recreational grouping = 17-24 points total teams
*the above playoff groupings will be determined (8 or 16 teams per) at the end of week 4 matches.
Teams are fighting each week to climb as high as possible in the rankings to secure a playoff spot. The higher you climb during the regular season, the tougher your opponent. Climb too high, you will lose a match and the system will adjust your team, via rankings, to find more suitable opponents. Basically, you can play up to you potential and face teams with the same "talent" or "skill".
Preseason will begin Jan 9th. Sign ups are open now and will remain open until Jan 31st.
League Match night will always be Wednesday at 9:30pm EST
Go to to your teams admin panel, and sign up for CoD 4 - 5v5 Sabotage Season 1
All teams allowed in until week 2 matches are scheduled, then we close signups.
PAM4 (current approved version) will be required for match play and we will be using the Sabotage mod for league play. (this is the same as Cal)
*map list is subject to change until regulation season begins. We will strive to keep teams as informed as possible, and welcome feedback or suggestions to map rotation.
